Ambric’s GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING Experience

Ambric's professional engineering staff has performed numerous types of geotechnical investigations and subsurface explorations, ranging from test borings and rock coring to undisturbed samples, piezometers, and field vane shear. Our work with foundation systems including inspection of piles (timber, steel, auger cast, monotubes, etc.), caissons, mat foundations, and spread footings. Other engineering expertise includes geotextile earth reinforcing systems, modular block retaining walls, gabions, and soldier beam/lagging. We have also worked with such ground modification systems as compaction grouting, mini-piles (tie back, rock anchor installation), stone columns and vertical sand drains.
